Anarchist

Tool Cabinet

The Anarchist Tool Cabinet, Off-end’s wall mounted hand tool storage cabinet, gives the artisan 16 square feet of pegboard storage space, more than enough room for a complete set of everyday-use tools. Its austere economy is inspired by the travel chests made by the migratory joiners and cabinetmakers of the 19th Century, which housed everything needed to make a living on the road and takes its name from The Anarchist’s Tool Chest by renowned woodworker, Chris Schwarz. Our Anarchist is a lazier, stationary version made from reclaimed wood, pegboard and rattan cane. The cabinet features hand-cut dovetail joinery and traditional caning technique applied to banal remnants of pegboard that serve as door panels. The French cleat system allows for a quick install and an even quicker removal, should there be a need.
